These Terms and Conditions apply from 24th February 2021

Terms and conditions

1. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding their decision-making process.

2. No cash alternatives to the prize are offered.

3. There is no entry fee. This is not a lottery, game of chance, or form of gambling.

4. Nominations may be made by any person who wishes to recognise the contributions of any eligible person(s) or organisation(s), including the nominees themselves (i.e. self-nomination is permitted). 

5. Nominations will only be accepted as final once a shortlisted nominee has confirmed that they are willing to be considered and has agreed to being identified publicly.

6. Nominations may be withdrawn at any time, up to the closing time, by notifying the promoter.

7. Shortlisted nominees and winners may request that their details are removed from the website by notifying the promoter.

8. Submission of a nomination grants the promoter permission, and a licence, to use any accompanying text, audio, video and/or pictures for the purposes of promoting the award competition.

9. Nominations must be received by 23:59 UTC on 23rd December to be considered for the following year’s award. Any nominations received after this date will be considered for the award in the next round. (examples: a nomination or acceptance received on 23rd December 2021 would be included in judging for the 2022 award.  A nomination or acceptance received on, or after, 24th December 2021 would be considered for judging for the 2023 award)

10.  All nominations will be considered and a shortlist produced for final judging. The organisers will contact all shortlisted nominees to confirm that they accept the nomination before they can be considered for the final award. If a nominee does not give positive confirmation, they will be removed from the shortlist.
